Last minute Machu Picchu tickets: the 2-Day Tour from Cusco

Sold out online? The Ministry of Culture keeps a daily quota of entrance tickets that are sold in person in Machu Picchu Pueblo. On this 2-day tour we take you there, assist you with the registration and hand you your Circuit 2 entrance. Day 1: travel to Machupicchu village. Day 2: visit the selected circuit. Includes train, guide, bus, entrance ticket and transportation from Cusco.

Itinerary

Day 1Cusco → Machu Picchu Pueblo
03:40Pickup from your hotel in Cusco.
04:20Bus to Ollantaytambo and train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (arrival 08:01).
08:15Our staff meets you at the train station exit and takes you to the registration office for your registration number. You register in person with your original passport.
LaterWhen your number is called you pick up your entrance ticket. Free time. 19:00 briefing with your guide at your hotel.
Day 2Machu Picchu
EntryBus from Aguas Calientes to the entrance for the time assigned by the Ministry of Culture (between 6 AM and 3 PM). 2.5-hour guided tour of Circuit 2.
19:00Train back to Ollantaytambo and bus to Cusco. Transfer to your hotel around 23:00.

The price per person depends on how many tickets you book together. Andean Community nationals (Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia) have their own rate. Pay the total when you reserve; the tour is confirmed by email and WhatsApp.

Booking terms

Entry time: it may be from 6 AM to 3 PM. We have no control over the entry time assigned; it depends on official availability and demand. You must accept the time assigned by the Ministry of Culture. 9 AM is usual in low season, 11 AM in high season, and 3 PM on extremely high-demand days.

Entry day: your Circuit 2 entrance is for day 2 of the tour. Our coordinator registers you in person in Machu Picchu Pueblo the afternoon you arrive and hands you the ticket that same day.

Cancellation: within 72 hours of your payment you may cancel with a charge of $150 per traveler and get the rest back; after those 72 hours there is no refund. Date changes with 72 hours' notice cost $30 per person. Train and bus tickets are not refundable once issued.

Documents

Original passport of every traveler is required to board the train and to enter Machu Picchu. Small backpack or hand luggage only on the train.
