When the official website shows no tickets, the Ministry still sells a daily quota in person in Machu Picchu Pueblo. We travel with you, register you and hand you your Circuit 2 entrance. Honest about the one thing we can't control: the exact entry day.

How the two days work

Day 1Cusco → Pueblo

03:40Pickup at your Cusco hotel. Bus to Ollantaytambo.

06:10Train to Machu Picchu Pueblo.

08:00Our coordinator meets you at the station exit and walks you to the Ministry's registration office. You register in person with your original passport and get a number.

LaterWhen your number is called you collect the entrance. Free afternoon. 19:00 briefing with the guide.

Day 2Machu Picchu

EntryBus up to the gate for the window the Ministry assigned (between 06:00 and 15:00). Circuit 2, 2 h 30 inside with a licensed guide.

19:00Train back to Ollantaytambo and bus to Cusco, arriving around 23:00.

The honest part

We don't guarantee the day. The Ministry sells tomorrow's tickets in person; when tomorrow is sold out it sells the day after, and so on. Rules change without notice. As of September 2026, most travelers get day 2. In August a client of our operator arrived on the 6th and could only buy for the 9th.

If your ticket comes out for day 3, you choose: switch to Circuit 1 or 3 that same day 2 if those still have quota, or stay one more night (hotel and train change at your cost, we rebook it for you).

Your deposit is refunded if the Ministry suspends the in-person sale or our coordinator can't operate that day. Not if you decide not to travel.

Cancellation

Free cancellation of the deposit up to 72 h before departure. After that, train and bus tickets are already issued in your name and are not refundable; the service fee is.
