What you get on board
- A three-course menu with wine pairing: A complete gourmet dining experience served at your seat.
- An upscale car with wide windows: A relaxed, more exclusive setting to watch the Sacred Valley go by.
Departures and fares on a real date
Times and fares from Inca Rail's system for 15 November 2026, one way per adult. Fares change with the date and the departure; Mi Tour shows the live fare for your day.
- Ollantaytambo → Machu Picchu Town (train): 11:15, arriving 12:41. $336.
- Cusco → Machu Picchu Town (bus + train): 08:00, arriving 12:41. $356.
- Machu Picchu Town → Ollantaytambo or Cusco: 19:00. To Ollantaytambo $318, arriving 20:41; on to Cusco $338, arriving 23:00.
Plan the day around it
With the outbound train arriving at 12:41, a same-day visit needs an afternoon entry: only routes 2A, 2B, 1B and 3B sell afternoon slots (see Machu Picchu in the afternoon). The 19:00 return works with any entry time. Many travelers take First Class one way only — usually the evening return — and The Voyager or The Prime the other.
How to book it with us
We sell Inca Rail. Once you have your Machu Picchu entrance with us, open Mi Tour, your trip itinerary, and add the train: you see every departure of your day with the operator's live fare and pick the one that fits your entry time.
Is The First Class the same as the Hiram Bingham?
No. The Hiram Bingham is PeruRail's (Belmond) luxury train; The First Class is Inca Rail's top class. See [the Hiram Bingham](/blog/hiram-bingham-train).
Does The First Class run every hour?
No. On our sample date it ran once a day in each direction: 11:15 from Ollantaytambo and 19:00 from Machu Picchu Town.
Your entrance first, then the train
Book your Machu Picchu ticket, then add the Inca Rail train in Mi Tour with the live fare for your date. Both on one itinerary.
