One day, in order
A common order is Chinchero, then Moray and the Maras salt mines, which are close to each other, and Ollantaytambo last. Ending in Ollantaytambo lets you take an afternoon train to Machu Picchu, or sleep in the valley and take an early one. With us, the Sacred Valley day is a private transfer through Chinchero, Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo at your own pace.
Do I need the Cusco Tourist Ticket for the Sacred Valley?
Yes, for Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero and Moray. Circuit III covers those four for S/ 70 (foreign visitors).
Are the Maras salt mines included in the Tourist Ticket?
No. They charge their own entry: S/ 20 for foreign visitors and S/ 15 for Peruvians.
Does the Tourist Ticket include Machu Picchu?
No. Machu Picchu has its own entrance ticket from the Ministry of Culture.
The valley on the way to the train
Add the Sacred Valley day to your trip in Mi Tour, and end it in Ollantaytambo for the Machu Picchu train.
