About this circuit
Visit the Inca Bridge — a stone path cut into a vertical cliff with a removable wooden section, and one of the most interesting examples of Inca engineering around Machu Picchu. The route combines the upper panoramic sector with the bridge trail; you see the bridge from a viewpoint. Busiest from June to October.

Who this ticket is for
- Visitors who want the postcard platforms plus one unusual sight most tourists never see.
- Anyone who wants a short extra walk without a real climb: the bridge trail is short and mostly level.

Questions about this ticket
- How much is the Inca Bridge ticket (Circuit 1D)?
- $65.10 per adult and $40.95 for children aged 3 to 17, card fee included. Children under 3 enter free.
- Is the Inca Bridge worth it?
- Yes if you want the postcard platforms plus a short, quiet trail: a stone path cut into the cliff that ends at a viewpoint of the bridge, with few people on it. Not if you want to walk inside the Inka city: no Circuit 1 route enters it; for that choose Circuit 2A.
- Is Circuit 1 or Circuit 3 better?
- Circuit 1 is the city seen from above, from the upper platforms; Circuit 3 is the city walked from inside, through the lower royal sector, without the postcard platform. If you have one ticket and one visit, Circuit 2A gives you both.
- Can I cross the Inka Bridge?
- No. The bridge is seen from a viewpoint at the end of the trail; crossing it is not allowed. What you see is the stone path cut into the cliff and the removable timber section that once controlled access to the city.
- Does this route enter the Inka city?
- No. Like all Circuit 1 routes it goes from the entrance to the two platforms, along the trail to the bridge viewpoint, and back to the exit.
- Is 3 hours enough?
- Yes for most visitors. The bridge trail is a short walk each way; the rest of the time is for the two platforms and the photos.
